Weekly Updates

 â€‹â€‹

  • Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday of this week are Ember Days. Only one full meal may be taken. Two other light, meatless meals may be taken, but which together do not constitute the quantity of a full meal. On Friday, no meat may be taken at all. No solid food may be eaten between meals. According to the traditional law, those who have achieved their 21st birthday are bound, and those who have achieved their 59th birthday are no longer bound. All, from seven years on up, are bound to the abstinence (partial or full, depending on the day) on the Ember Days.

  • Young Mens Confraternity - An introductory meeting will be held at the Barnett location in the main hall this Tuesday, May 26 at 7:30 PM. Single young men of the parish are invited to attend. For further information, please contact the parish office.

  • There will be no May meeting of the Christian Mothers' Conraternity. Meetings will resume in September.

  • Next Sunday, Trinity Sunday, is the last day to fulfill your Easter duty. All the faithful who have reached the use of reason are gravely obliged to receive Holy Communion worthily at least once during the Easter season, which is from the first Sunday of Lent to Trinity Sunday (the Sunday after Pentecost).

  • The June monthly Q&A, originally scheduled for June 7, will be moved to Sunday May 31. Moving forward, the Q&A will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. This session will cover the Roman Missal and how to follow during Mass.

  • All are invited to attend Queen of All Saints Academy End of  Year events on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14. On Saturday, there will be a concert, commencement, and refreshments at 6:30 PM. On Sunday, there will be Benediction and Te Deum of thanksgiving before the Blessed Sacrament at 5:00 PM followed by a reception. There is a QR code for registration in the bulletin.
